Renexia and Sistem-MNE Sign €1.2 Billion Renewable-Energy Memorandum

On 28 October, Italian energy company Renexia and Montenegro’s Sistem-MNE announced a memorandum covering planned wind and solar projects with a combined investment value of €1.2 billion. The proposed portfolio could reduce annual carbon emissions by an estimated 497,000 tonnes and support up to 1,000 jobs across the supply chain. The memorandum does not confirm that the full investment is financed or contracted. The plans could create opportunities for solar and wind equipment, engineering, construction, grid systems and specialist services.
